On 14 March 2025, Senior Lecturer Ms Darcy Davison-Roberts presented The Legal Skills Portal: Enhancing Experiential Learning in Legal Education at the HKU Teaching and Learning Festival Poster Showcase. The project, developed in collaboration with Stephanie Hader and funded by a Teaching Development Grant, responds to the growing need for scalable, practice-based legal skills training.

The Legal Skills Portal is a digital platform that supports clinical and experiential legal education by offering a centralised library of instructional resources. These include materials on client interviewing, evidence gathering, legal research and writing, and professional responsibility. The Portal also features student-generated flipped classroom content, a blog section, and diagnostic tools to assess learning outcomes.

Designed to serve students, instructors, and external partners, the Portal promotes consistency in legal skills training and enhances student preparedness for real-world legal practice. Feedback and user engagement will inform its continued development.
