The International Court of Justice (the Court) is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations (UN).  Its seat is at the Peace Palace in the Hague, the Netherlands.  The Court’s role is to settle, in accordance with international law, legal disputes submitted to it by States and to give advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by authorised UN organs and specialised agencies. Judge Tomka has been the President (2012-2015), Vice-President (2009-2012) and member of the Court (since 2003).  During his visit, Judge Tomka shared his experience at the Court and its internship opportunities; and exchanged views on legal education with Professor Michael Ng and Professor Shahla Ali. He also visited the Lui Che Woo Law Library.
