Over 100 HKU Law alumni in Shanghai had a wonderful gathering, reconnecting and strengthening our alumni community on 23 May (Saturday).
The gathering began with welcome remarks by Professor Hualing FU, Dean of Law, HKU; and Professor Jing LENG, former colleague of HKU Law who is now with East China Normal University. Then the audiences enjoyed the lecture “Technology Changes History: Understanding Today’s Global Transformations through the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods” given by Professor Zhiwu CHEN, Cheng Yu-Tung Professor in Finance, HKU Business School. The event is concluded by a warm dinner at the Bund. The occasion also marked the establishment of our HKU Shanghai Law Alumni Network:

香港大學法律學院校友 – 上海聚會
在5月23日(星期六)，過百名在滬的香港大學法律學院校友濟濟一堂，歡聚暢談。
聚會由香港大學法律學院院長傅華伶教授致歡迎詞開始，其後學院前同事、現任華東政法大學冷靜教授，作為友好院校代表致詞歡迎，接著是由港大經管學院鄭裕彤基金教授（金融學）陳志武教授主講的講座《科技改變歷史：從春秋戰國理解當下世界變革》，聚會以外灘晚宴作結，此次聚會亦標誌著「香港大學上海法律校友會」的成立：
