This semester, the HKU Faculty of Law is delighted to welcome an A&O Shearman partner to offer an elective course titled “Legal Concepts and Practical Application in Financial Transactions”. The course is taught by Ms Yvonne Siew, derivatives and structured finance partner at the firm. With her extensive experience on a wide range of structured finance and derivatives transactions, including advising on many complex structured transactions and regulatory aspects in Hong Kong and internationally, students will benefit from first-hand teaching by an experienced practitioner at one of the world’s leading law firms. The course offers students practical knowledge and skills, networking opportunities, exposure to cutting-edge issues in commercial practice, and relevant industry insights.
