At the 2023 ILA-ASIL Asia-Pacific Research Forum held on 3-4 December 2023 in Taipei, Tang Yi (PhD) was awarded the Wellington Koo Prize. The theme of the Research Forum was “Indo-Pacific Strategies and International Law” and the Organizing Committee selected the three best submitted papers including Tang’s. The Wellington Koo Prize, named after Koo who served as the ICJ Judge and the ROC Ambassador to the United States, was set up for early career researchers in international law below the age of 35.
After a hiatus of two years, physical overseas exchange full resumed and we are so proud that Leo Ma (BBA(Law)&LLB) received the 2022-23 Colin and Romey Warbrick Prize in Public International Law at the School of Law, Durham University. It is the first time that the Prize is awarded to an exchange student.
Another round of applause goes to Leung Sze Ching Jerrie (LLB 4), Fong Kai Hei Leo (BSocSc(Govt&Laws)&LLB 5) and Wong Tsz Shing Oscar (BSocSc(Govt&Laws)&LLB 5) who took home the 1st Runner up at the 3rd WHAC Cup International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
