The Rhodes Scholarship is the oldest and one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. There is no shortage of Nobel laureates and heads of state among Rhodes Scholars. The Faculty takes pride in having 7 LLB and 1 JD graduates among the 39 Rhodes Scholars since the Scholarship was introduced in Hong Kong in 1986.
In the Sharing Session “Rhodes Scholars at HKU Law” on 16 March 2024, also the HKU Alumni Day, 4 Rhodes Scholars, who are our alumni, shared their experiences as law students at HKU and Oxford, as well as their career paths and insights with alumni, current and prospective students.
