Our Rule of Law Education (‘ROLE’) Project team coordinated a mock-trial workshop at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong on 27 May 2024, which marked the 13th session of this year’s programme of the Project. Thank you for the trust and support of our school partners and the tireless efforts of our student interns!
The participants assumed the roles of prosecution, defense, and the jury. Aside from having fun in working as teams in spotting the legal issues, preparing arguments, and discussing strategies, the students gained a deeper understanding of the hallmarks of the criminal justice system and the court process in Hong Kong.
