The Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot 2022, hosted by King’s College London (KCL), took place at KCL on 17-18 June.

The team of four – Angel Chan On Ying (BBA (Law) & LLB 4), Thomas Lam Ho Lun (LLB 4), Holly Leung Hoi Yan (LLB 4), and Nicholas O-Young Qian (PCLL) – was ranked 5th in the written round; then ended up as a quarterfinalist in the Oral Round. Angel received an Honourable mention for advocacy as well.

The Team would like to thank their coaches Professor Thomas Cheng, Associate Professor Kelvin Kwok, and Ms Allison Wong for their time and effort in coaching the team. Special thanks also go to Ms Catrina Lam, Ms Connie Lee, Mr Kevin Lau, Mr Byron Chiu, Mr Peter Dong, Mr Joshua Kanjanapas, Mr Jason Louie and Mr Adrian Mak for being the guest judges in the practice moot sessions and for their constructive feedback.
