The University of Hong Kong’s new Centre for Interdisciplinary Legal Studies (CILS) is pleased to host its inaugural conference on May 22–23, 2024. The “Law &: An exploration of the past, present, and future of interdisciplinary legal studies” conference brings together researchers from universities around the world to examine, share, celebrate, and critique interdisciplinary approaches to legal studies. Featuring a keynote from Mark Suchman, the Director of the American Bar Foundation as well as research and policy presentations from a diverse array of eminent scholars, the event will kick off the new research centre and help establish HKU as a nexus of interdisciplinary legal studies.
